Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InvoicePDF ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Sign-In

You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account and for all activity that takes place through your account. Please notify us at hello@invoicepdf.dev if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

4. Service Description

InvoicePDF offers:

  • Professional-grade PDF invoice generation and management tools
  • Customizable templates and history of your invoices
  • Regular feature updates and improvements
  • Basic technical support via email

InvoicePDF is a document-formatting tool. It is not accounting, tax, or legal advice, and it does not check whether an invoice you create meets the tax, invoicing, or record-keeping requirements that apply to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of every invoice you issue.

5. Purchase and Payment

  • InvoicePDF is sold as a one-time purchase of USD 14.99 that grants lifetime access, linked to your email address
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details
  • Prices are stated in US dollars and exclude any taxes, bank charges, or currency conversion fees your payment provider may apply
  • Your purchase is personal and non-transferable
  • "Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the Service, with no recurring fee. It is not a guarantee that the Service will be offered indefinitely

6. Refund Policy

Because the purchase grants immediate and permanent access to digital content, we do not generally offer refunds once a purchase is completed.

This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law. If the Service does not work as described, email us at hello@invoicepdf.dev and we will put it right or refund you.

7. Your Content

You keep all rights to the invoice data, logos, and other content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate the Service for you, such as saving your invoice history and generating your PDFs. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it to train machine learning models.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of the invoices you need to retain. The Service is not a substitute for your own record-keeping.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You shall not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor attempt to breach or circumvent any security features. In particular, you must not:

  • Create fraudulent, forged, or deliberately misleading invoices, or impersonate another person or business
  • Use the Service in connection with money laundering, tax evasion, or any other financial crime
  • Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights
  • Resell, sublicense, or share your access with others
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or place unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service or other users at risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where circumstances reasonably allow, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and data by emailing hello@invoicepdf.dev.

If we decide to discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to the address linked to your account so that you can export your invoices.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, templates, and branding, is owned by InvoicePDF and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. PDFs you generate are yours to use without restriction.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Google for optional sign-in, and Vercel for hosting and analytics. Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages or acts of these providers that are outside our reasonable control.

12. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. InvoicePDF makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoicePDF shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the Service. In any event, our total liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify InvoicePDF against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or from invoices or other content you create using the Service.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us at hello@invoicepdf.dev so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and InvoicePDF regarding the Service. Someone who is not a party to these Terms has no right to enforce any of its terms.
